NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BALDWIN COUNTY PRO HOUSING GRANT APPLICATION

Baldwin County will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers located at 1601 N Columbia Street, Room 220 in Milledgeville. The County is considering applying to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for a federal Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) Grant to primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons.

The activities for which these funds may be used are to remove barriers to affordable housing and increasing housing production and lower housing costs over the long term. More specific details regarding eligible activities, plans to assist displaced persons (if any), the estimated amount of funds proposed to be used for activities to benefit low-and moderate-income persons, and the rating system will be provided at a public hearing.

The purpose of this hearing will be to obtain citizen input into the development of the application. This notice is to also inform the public that on September 25, 2024 a draft copy of the PRO housing grant application will be available for public review and comment at www.baldwincountyga.com.
